Thanks coaches and officials - great job!

Coaches and officials are the lifeblood of Australian sport and the backbone of many sporting organisations. They contribute their valuable time, effort and expertise in assisting participants to develop their skills and enjoy their sport.

The Thanks Coaches and Officials program has been developed by the ASC to assist clubs to recognise and reward their hard working coaches and officials. A range of online resources that can be used to thank coaches and officials are available via the tabs above.  There are also case studies available about how the Thanks program has been implemented - see related links below.

Further information for clubs on strategies for recruiting and retaining coaches and officials can be found by visiting Tools for Clubs.

The degree of commitment by a volunteer coach or official is the difference between a good and a bad experience for children playing organised sport’ (Killarney Vale Junior Australian Football Club).
