Parents and guardians

Active children are likely to become active adults. Encouraging your child to participate in club sport can be a gift for life.

Club sports promote regular exercise, which is good for overall health and wellbeing. A fun club environment can also provide the opportunity for you and your children to connect with your local community, make new friends and develop new skills and confidence.

And sport is a great way to have family time. You can do more than just cheer from the sidelines. Practice activities in the backyard or local oval and you’ll all get your hearts pumping. You could even volunteer as a coach, umpire or official.

There are so many sports to choose from, there is something to suit everyone’s interests, skills and abilities. The links to the left and above will help you explore the possibilities.
