Delivering structured physical activity
Many people become community coaches and deliver for the AASC program, including teachers, senior secondary or teritary students, parents, sports club members, activity providers and even medal winning Paralympians.
If you or your organisation is interested in delivering structured physical activities for the AASC program you must satisfactorily meet registration requirements.
Requirements are:
- completion of the AASC Community Coach Training Program (See below);
- submission of a Probationary registration form (See below); and
- satisfactory completion of a National criminal history police check/working with children check (See below)
Where a deliverer wishes to deliver a specific sport or activity, they are required to have sufficient experience, knowledge and/or have the required qualifications, training and expertise
If successfully registered, all deliverers are subject to a probationary period of six months. During the six month probationary period all deliverers will be required to undertake a practical assessment. Program deliverers will be required to achieve a required minimum of satisfactory outcome to obtain full registration.
