Selecting 1 card at a time from a deck, a player moves around a space performing various diving skills.
What you need (setting up)
- 1 x deck of playing cards.
- 4 x posters with playing card suit symbols.
- 4 x posters with pictures or descriptions of various skills/activities.
- Wall space or another area to display the posters.
- Prop - low solid box, large tubing, etc.
What to do
- A player runs to the middle of the room and picks up 1 card at a time from the deck.
- They then run to the wall or space that matches the suit of the card or remain in the centre with a face card (K, Q, J).

- Hearts: Standing Position – Starting with the hands by the sides move into a standing T position with arms outstretched and feet together; raise arms over the head and grab a flat hand (interlock webs of hands at thumbs and face palms upwards). Arms are straight and covering the ears. Hold the head and shoulders high and roll the hips forward to create a flat back. Return arms to the sides to finish one round.
- Clubs: Tuck - From standing position move into a tuck position on the floor, by pulling the knees tight into the chest, pointing the toes during the tuck, grabbing each leg with a hand on the shin (not the knees) and looking over the knees while squeezing the tuck tight. Stand again to finish one round.

- Diamonds: Open or closed pike - From a standing position move into a pike position on the floor then stand again to finish one round. (Place legs on a prop to raise them off the floor if needed).
-
- Open pike - point toes and keep the legs straight; position the head to look at or over the toes; face the palms forwards; keep the back as flat as possible and try for less than a 90 degree angle between the legs and back.
- Closed pike - point toes and keep the legs straight; grab the arms underneath the legs and take the head to the knees; pull the pike as tight as possible using the arms and not the hands; keep the back as flat as possible.
- Spades: Tuck and pike – Move into the tuck position, then straight from the tuck to an open pike to finish one round.
- Face cards (K, Q, J): Tuck and roll – Move into the tuck position; rock backwards, rolling onto the upper back and then back to a sitting tuck position.
