Game description

Targets are set up away from a throwing line. A player scores points by hitting targets.

What you need (setting up)

  • 8 - 10 x different targets - plastic bottles with a little sand in the bottom, cricket wickets, cones, bins or buckets.
  • 2 or more x size 0 or size 1 handballs, or equivalent small balls, e.g. tennis balls. 

What to do

  • Player throws balls to hit or land in the targets.
  • Play is stopped to re-position targets that have been knocked over.

Scoring

  • Bonus point if a ball lands inside a target.
  • Set a score to reach, e.g. 8
  • Aim of the highest score in a set time, e.g. 30 seconds.

Change it

  • Vary the distance of the targets from the throwing line.
  • Increase the number of balls to throw.
  • Increase or decrease the throwing time.

Safety

  • Watch out for rebounding balls with targets that are close.
