Game description
With a tennis racket a player hits a ball into the air, lets it bounce and hits it up again.
What you need (setting up)
- 1 x tennis racquet.
- 1 x low compression tennis ball or similar.
What to do
- A player hits a tennis ball into the air with their racquet, lets it bounce, and hits it up again.

Scoring
- 1 point per successful hit-bounce-hit. If the player loses control of their ball and drops it, they will need to start counting from the beginning again.
Change it
- Tap the ball on different parts of the racket.
- Player hops or jumps as many times as they can while the ball is in the air.
- Player moves around an obstacle course as they tap the ball.
- Player hits the ball against a wall.
Safety
- Use a racket and ball suitable to the player's ability.
- Ensure the playing area is flat and free of obstacles.
- Rackets must not be swung around or raised more than chest high.
Ask the players
- How many times can you tap the ball into the air with your racquet?
- How high can you tap the ball into the air and still catch it?
- How many hops/jumps/other things can you do while the ball is in the air?
