Can I save my application and come back to it later?

Yes, applications can be saved and you are able to return to it at a later date. If you choose this option, you need to first complete several steps of the process up until a ‘Save Application Now’ button is visible in the top right-hand corner. Once this button is activated, an automated email will be sent which contains a unique security code and a link to your application. Ensure you save your application before closing the web page.

How do I access my saved application?

To retrieve a saved application, you need to follow the link in the automated email which was sent when you originally saved your application. Follow the link and after completing the first four steps of the application with the same details you will be asked to enter the unique security code (listed in the automated email). You will then be able to access and complete your application.

Can I access and change my submitted application?

You will not be able to personally access your submitted application. If your circumstances change and you need to make changes to your submitted application you will need to contact the program administrator to make modifications on your behalf.

How do I know if my application has been submitted successfully?

Successfully submitted applications will be acknowledged through a system-generated email which will include a copy of your submitted application. It is recommended that you keep a record of this email, as you will no longer have access to your submitted application online.

How are grant applications assessed?

In summary, grant applications are assessed by two assessment panels. An Internal Assessment Committee comprising ASC representatives which specialise in each category and an External Assessment Committee including representatives from the ASC, Office for Women and NSOs.

If I apply for a grant am I automatically guaranteed funding?

The SLGSfW is an incredibly popular grant program and is therefore regularly oversubscribed. Submitting an application does not guarantee that you will be successful or receive funding.

How do I know if I am successful in obtaining a grant?

All successful and unsuccessful applicants will be notified by an official letter via email. The successful letter will outline the approved grant amount and course/activity funded and the requirements of the grant.

Is attending the Sport Leadership Workshop compulsory?

Yes, it is a requirement that all successful recipients attend an allocated Sport Leadership Workshop. Organisations are required to nominate an aspiring women leader who is participating in the approved project to attend the workshop.

Can I apply for a grant or scholarship if I have previously been a recipient?

Yes, all previous grant recipients can re-apply for a grant or scholarship providing all previous funding has been acquitted and you have no outstanding reporting requirements. It is important to note that only one application from each individual can be successful and receive funding each year.

Who do I contact if I have further questions?

If you have further questions, please email the Sport Leadership Grants and Scholarships for Women Program Administrator or phone (02) 6214 1111.
