Leadership workshops

The ASC conducts two-day residential sport leadership workshops for grant and scholarship recipients to further develop skills to enable recipients to reach their leadership potential. The workshops provide individual personal development and are complimentary. The personal growth and development attained through these workshops enhance the education attained through the sport specific courses or development opportunities for which recipients receive funding.

All individual grant and scholarship recipients are required to attend an allocated residential sport leadership workshop, and all organisation grant recipients are required to nominate an aspiring woman leader from within the organisation who is participating in the project to attend the workshop. The workshops are held in six Australian cities between August and October and the ASC covers all associated costs including the cost of travel, accommodation and meals for those recipients who are required to travel.

 2013 Workshop dates:

10-11 August - Brisbane
10-11 August - Perth
17-18 August - Melbourne
31 August-1 September  - Sydney
7-8 September - Adelaide
26-27 October - Canberra (attended by scholarship recipients)
