Sport Leadership Grants for Women to open March 8, 2010
The 2010 round of the Sport Leadership Grants for Women open on March 8, 2010. Successful applicants will receive a one-off Sport Leadership grant of up to $5000 for individuals and up to $10,000 for organisations. In addition to their identified projects, successful individual applicants are expected to attend a two day leadership workshop covering a range of leadership and development topics, including effective communication, conflict resolution and influencing change. Join the Club Development Network
The Club Development Network is the Australian Sports Commission's (ASC) online service for Australian clubs. This free service provides a range of information and advice on relevant club issues and topics.
Access is free and members of our network receive regular ASC information including the Community Sport newsletter, information on available grants and helpful tips to access the many club resources available. Additionally, the network is used to advise our members of any upcoming workshops and events happening in their state or sport.

Good Sports is an Australian Drug Foundation initiative that helps community sporting clubs manage alcohol responsibly and reduce alcohol problems such as binge drinking and underage drinking. The program aims to develop safer healthier communities through viable and welcoming community sporting clubs.

The expectation on sporting clubs to conduct themselves professionally and meet demanding regulations and compliance is forever increasing.
The Club Development Network team is always encouraging members to visit and access the network’s resource library to assist with their club administration. The library holds almost 500 different club resources available to assist clubs to manage their organisations. Resources range from planning guides to fundraising ideas, and even down to food-handling procedures. The library acts as a one-stop shop for clubs to access on a regular basis or when they need some assistance on an issue.
