Terms & Conditions of Contracts
Clubs who have or plan on having staff in paid employment have certain legal obligations in relation to the terms and conditions of their employees. Unpaid volunteers also need to have their entitlements clearly spelled out. Your club may have an agreement with your volunteers about clothing allowances or fuel reimbursements. By documenting these agreements you can help keep your people better informed and prepared to meet any personal responsibilities in relation to taxation and other matters.
You should also consider having prepared position descriptions for all positions and nominating a person who is responsible for overseeing volunteers.
