Ethics in Sport

Sport naturally serves as a vehicle for education, health, leadership and fair play – but the fact is, that these values are not automatically transmitted in sport. It all depends on how sport is managed, taught and practiced.

The Australian Sports Commission (ASC) takes an important leadership role in working with national sporting organisations and national sporting organisations for people with a disability, to establish structures and policies that ensure a fair, safe, ethical and inclusive culture pervades sport at all levels.

With the support and direction of the ASC, sport continues to improve the role that coaches, officials, administrators and support personnel can play in the lives of Australians.
