Does your sport have an up to date Member Protection Policy?

Member protection is a term used by the Australian sports industry to describe the practices and procedures that protect an organisation’s members – both individual members such as players, coaches and officials, and the member clubs such as clubs, state associations and the national body.

The ASC’s Member Protection Policy framework template was developed to assist sports write their own sport-specific member protection policy and is one of several steps to address issues of harassment, discrimination and child protection within their organisation.
