Golf

Golf Access Australia (GAA) is a social golf program aimed at the large numbers of social golfers who are non-members of clubs. Through this program, non-members of golf clubs can become affiliated members of the Australian Golf Union (AGU) and access a range of benefits currently only available to club members, the most significant being an official AGU handicap. Other benefits include insurance cover, resource pack, newsletters, golf industry updates and special offers.

Individuals become part of the program by joining providers or social clubs accredited by the AGU to run the program.

Through this program the AGU aims to link into the large numbers of social golfers who currently have little involvement with the formal golf system. By offering them attractive benefits such as participation and handicap opportunities the AGU will gain extra members providing a more direct contribution to the development of golf.
