NSO and NSOD funding

The ASC provides integrated and targeted funding and services to NSOs and NSODs based on individual strategic plans. NSO funding allocations are reviewed annually in light of the NSO’s performance against the objectives and performance measures listed in its costed operational plan, as well as compliance with ASC requirements.

The ASC provides two different types of funding to NSOs & NSODs:

· Sport grants which support the high performance and/or sport development activities of an NSO/NSOD linked to its strategic and operational plans; and

· Program grants which relate to specific projects and initiatives.

All grants are approved by the ASC Board on an annual basis. However, indicative sport grants are notionally allocated to NSOs and NSODs over a four year period, subject to the NSO/NSOD meeting appropriate performance targets and ASC compliance requirements. Program grants are generally allocated on an annual basis.

In 2008-09, the funding provided by the ASC to NSOs and NSODs is listed in the documents below.
