Netball Schools Primary School Program [New]
Teacher and Coach Led | Foundation - Year 6
This sequential and flexible curriculum aligned program includes modified games and engaging ways to practice fundamental movement skills, netball skills and personal and social skills, encouraging more touches of the ball and more fun. Teachers and coaches are encouraged to modify games and sessions as needed using the support in the resource to enable students to build confidence and skills at a pace which suits them. The resource provides ideas on how to modify the program to delivery using Game Sense and SEPEP Models.
The program is divided into Foundation to Year 2, and Years 3 to 6 programs. Updated resources are provided to support delivery in the school setting, understand technical and tactical skills in netball, and link students to community netball to continue participation.
Netball Schools Special Schools Program [NEW]

Netball Australia and Member Organisations have collaborated with Special Olympics Australia and coaching experts to develop an inclusive and sequential program to experience netball within the Special School setting. This curriculum aligned program includes modified games and engaging ways to practice fundamental movement skills, netball skills and personal and social skills, encouraging more touches of the ball and more fun.
Teachers and coaches are encouraged to modify games and sessions as needed using the support in the resource to enable students to build confidence and skills at a pace which suits them. Netball Schools Train to Play Program [NEW]
Coach Led | Year 3 - Year 8
This program is designed to provide a supportive coach led experience to introduce new students to traditional netball or develop more experienced students in this format of the game. Coaches will provide a mix of games and drills to develop technical and tactical skills to implement in games, and support with the understanding of key rules and strategy within our sport. Coaches will work with the teacher to design a program to meet the level of experience and aim of the program, to help students participate successfully in netball games within PE classes, Intra/Interschool Sport or aid transition into community netball.
Sporting Schools Secondary Coach Led Program
Experience a coach led Netball program at your school! Work with our Schools team to design an engaging coach led series of sessions to support the development of a range of technical and tactical skills of Netball. Sessions can complement your existing PE or Netball Programs, or introduce the sport for those who have not experienced it before.
Fast5 Netball Teacher Led Program
Fast5 offers secondary students the opportunity to play netball differently, with only 5 positions on the court and rolling-subs, shorter quarters and multiple scoring zones. Students also get to develop skills in off-court roles of umpire, timekeeper and scorer.
