My aim with this degree is to move into the biomedical field. Due to my life in sport, I have taken an interest into prosthetics, and believe this degree could help me combine my love for sport with my love for medicine and anatomy and hopefully help give both athletes and others a better quality of life through prosthetics.

Financial support would make a world of difference to not only my education, but to my sporting success as well. I do not live near university, so the travel accompanied with student amenities fees and course fees takes time away from my training and causes unnecessary stress. I am a mogul skier, and as such am required to travel often and far away for training camps and competition. This is quite expensive, and with the financial strain of university and training it does leave me in a position to have to start prioritising where I invest my time and finances.
