This double degree enables me to integrate my passion for sport into a practical and viable career. The Business Administration component provides me with essential management, leadership, and strategy knowledge and skills, whilst Exercise Science helps me better understand human physiology, performance optimisation, and injury prevention which can currently be applied to my career as an elite athlete.

Balancing the demands of being an elite athlete with my studies is a constant challenge. With the intense training schedules set by Hockey Australia, travel for competitions and academic deadlines, my capacity to fund both my education and sporting career is limited, and the financial pressure can be overwhelming.

With the right financial support, I can continue to develop both physically and mentally, unlocking my full potential to succeed in both sport and my post-sport professional career.
