Swimming. University of Technology Sydney. Bachelor of Medical Science and Bachelor of Business.
I am currently enrolled in a double degree in Medical Science and Business, which allows me to gain knowledge and skills in both the medical and corporate fields. Each semester, I undertake two science-based subjects and two business subjects, providing a balanced workload across both disciplines. The medical science component involves practical experiments, laboratory work, and research, helping me develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Meanwhile, the business component focuses on management, finance, marketing, and entrepreneurship, equipping me with the ability to navigate the commercial aspects of the healthcare industry.
I chose this course because it enables me to pursue my passions for both medicine and business while keeping my career options open. I am particularly interested in the intersection of healthcare and business, such as healthcare management, medical innovation, and biotechnology entrepreneurship. This degree provides a well-rounded education, making me adaptable and versatile in an evolving workforce.
Additionally, the course develops essential skills such as teamwork, leadership, critical thinking, and communication, which are highly valued in any profession. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively, conduct meticulous experiments, and analyze complex information enhances my employability. In a rapidly changing world, industries increasingly value professionals with multidisciplinary expertise, and this degree prepares me to thrive in diverse roles.
By combining medical science with business, I am preparing myself for a dynamic career where I can contribute to advancements in healthcare while understanding the economic and managerial aspects that drive innovation and sustainability.
