I am currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Finance at Monash University, a program designed to develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills in financial decision-making. This course covers key areas such as investment analysis, risk management, corporate finance, and financial markets, providing me with a solid foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of finance.

I chose this course because I understand that finance plays an important role in everyone's daily life. From budgeting and saving to investing and managing risks, financial decisions shape both individual well-being and business success. By deepening my understanding of finance, I can help improve the lives of those around me through wise investments, sound financial planning, and strategic wealth management.

The Bachelor of Finance offers valuable learning outcomes, including proficiency in data analysis, risk assessment, and financial modelling—skills that are highly sought after in the finance industry. It also provides exposure to real-world financial challenges through simulation work in class, industry projects, and networking opportunities.

Career-wise, this degree opens doors to various fields, including investment banking, financial consulting, corporate finance, risk management, and portfolio management. As for me personally, I am currently in the process of leaning more towards debt restructuring or financial crime. Debt restructuring interest me because it provides me an opportunity to help struggling companies turn their misfortunes.
