My Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Arts in International Studies combines core business practices with intercultural competency development through immersive language studies, cultural understanding, and compulsory overseas exchange. The 5 year program includes majors in International Management and Business Law, with structured intercultural skill-building units before and during my year abroad at the University of Cologne.

I chose this dual degree to bridge my business career aspirations with my passion for understanding cultural dynamics in global systems. The program's unique integration of language acquisition (I'm studying German), political economy frameworks, and hands-on cultural immersion aligns perfectly with my goal to work across boarders in business. My Cologne exchange provided practical experience navigating cultural challenges in European business environments.

The program's required overseas component was one of the biggest reasons I enrolled, as living in Cologne has deepened my understanding of European culture while developing the resilience needed to compete internationally.
