I am in my third year at Queensland University of Technology, pursuing a double degree in Business (Marketing) and Behavioral Science (Psychology). My passion for high-performance sports initially drew me to sports psychology, prompting me to select a program that combines deep psychological understanding with strategic business insights. This dual degree allows me to explore both clinical and sports psychology, providing a robust foundation in understanding human behavior and mental processes, which is essential for enhancing individual and team performance in sports.

The Behavioral Science part of my degree equips me with the skills necessary for a potential career in sports or clinical psychology, focusing on therapeutic techniques and performance enhancement strategies. The Marketing degree complements this by developing my ability to analyze market dynamics and consumer behavior, preparing me for roles that require a blend of psychological insight and business acumen, such as market research, human resources, or strategic marketing in sports organizations.

This combination of studies not only aligns with my interests but also opens up diverse career opportunities. I can apply psychological principles in business settings or focus on improving mental health and athletic performance, leveraging my understanding of both disciplines. The program’s structure, integrating practical experiences through projects and industry placements, further enhances my readiness for professional roles, ensuring that I graduate with a comprehensive skill set applicable in various high-demand sectors.
