I am deeply committed to both my academic pursuits at Queensland University of Technology and my goals within a high-performance Nacra 17 sailing campaign. This year alone, my sailing schedule includes five competitions across three separate trips to Europe. The financial demands of these international competitions are significant, encompassing travel, accommodation, equipment costs and entry fees, which are challenging to manage without external support. Receiving this scholarship is crucial, as it would allow me to focus more on achieving excellence in my studies and sailing, rather than how to finance my next competition or semester.
