Tahli Devine
Rugby Australia | Griffith University | Bachelor of Education

I chose this course because it aligns with my passion for sport and education. It enables me to promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles among children while also developing leadership, communication, and instructional skills. Pursing a Bachelor of Education (Primary) with a major in Health and Physical Education at Griffith University presents financial challenges, including tuition fees, textbooks, technology, and transport costs for professional placements. As placements are unpaid, balancing full-time study with part-time work is difficult, especially while also managing elite sporting commitments. Without these barriers, I can focus on becoming a well-rounded education, committed to fostering students’ physical literacy and wellbeing and my sporting successes.
