Amy Sligar

I’m a GIANTS netballer and studying biomedical science. While it’s a broad degree, it provides a really strong foundations for future study as my long-term goal is to become a doctor, particularly working in sport so that can give back to athletes in the same way that I’ve experienced as an athlete.

I’ve always held a big emphasis on both sport and study and finding little ways to set myself up for a career post-netball. I’ve taken on internships, worked with career practitioners and completing this course to gain skills and experience to set myself up for post-graduate medicine.
