Balancing a Bachelor of Economics, a sporting commitment, and two part-time jobs is something I've made work but it comes at a cost.
The honest reality is that the hours I spend working are hours I'm not spending studying, recovering, or competing at my best. Financial pressure has a way of quietly draining focus and energy that I'd rather be directing somewhere more meaningful.
This scholarship would go directly toward my tuition fees, taking real pressure off what I need to earn. It means more time to invest in my studies, more energy to give to my sport, and the mental space to actually make the most of the opportunities in front of me.
