Hayley Ballesty

As an elite athlete, I am committed to the dual career philosophy embedded in the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) Win Well Pledge. Through my studies in Landscape Architecture at UNSW, I am developing the skills to shape environments that enhance community wellbeing, environmental sustainability, and liveability. My education reinforces that being a high-performance athlete also means being a thoughtful and contributing member of society.

Additionally, as a female within a traditionally male-dominated industry, my presence in Landscape Architecture carries additional significance. I am also the first elite athlete in this program at UNSW, which positions me to challenge stereotypes in both sport and my future profession.
