Oliver Merritt

I am currently completing a Computer Science degree at USC and aspire to positively impact society by building AI solutions that create meaningful employment opportunities for others.

As a volleyball athlete, my life revolves entirely around sport, but I’ve learned that truly ‘winning well’ means developing myself beyond sport. Studying has become a way to build a life that is bigger than my results on the court. That balance allows me to perform with a clearer mind, a healthier outlook, and a stronger sense of purpose. It supports my development on the court and in life, and it helps me move toward my full potential in both.
