Adam Cassidy
Senior Advisor - Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, ASC
An ally and champion of creating equitable opportunities within the Australian sporting sector, Adam has 20 years’ experience working for Local, National and International sporting organisations in Australia and abroad.
He is currently the Senior Advisor - Equity, Diversity and Inclusion at the Australian Sports Commission leading such initiatives as the implementation of an Intersectionality Roadmap titled, An ALL Inclusive approach to governance and leadership in Australian Sport.
He spent seven years living and working in the Pacific Islands using sport as a vehicle for change in the areas of gender equity, health and nutrition as well as more than a decade working in cricket for the International Cricket Council and Cricket Australia. A key focus during this time was growing the sport in emerging markets and using the power of cricket to contribute to anti-racism and provide more opportunities for First Nations Australians and people with a disability.
