Dan Bigham and Jonny Wale are the founders of a track cycling racing team that sit outside of the British high performance system. In a remarkable rise to prominence in both Britain and Europe, HUUB Wattbike startied turning heads when their unconventional methods started winning national titles and lowering times. bewildering and infuriating well funded national track cycling programs. With a shoestring budget, their smarts and their willingness to try things, HUUB Wattbike forced their competitors to think differently and question their own conventions. Theirs is a story about how well funded systems can be beat, but also the twin dangers of resisting change and complacency in high performance sport.
