The Elite Youth Athlete (EYA) Guidelines:
- have been produced in response to requests from the National Institute Network (NIN) and National Sporting Organisations (NSOs), many of whom are already supporting EYAs.
- contain eight guidelines, each including one key recommendation, rationale, and key action areas to support implementation (with example resources).
- are designed with the understanding that many organisations have the relevant program arrangements, servicing frameworks and HP skillsets largely in place.
- complement the National Integrity Framework and existing sport and child protection policies.
- are aligned with IOC consensus statement recommendations.
- are, to our knowledge, a world-first in their release and scope.
