Athlete module 

This is part 2 of ‘Menstrual Abnormalities’. In this module, we discuss menstrual abnormalities such as period pain, bleeding and premenstrual syndrome. If you haven’t completed Menstrual Abnormalities 1, we recommend you completing this first.

This module will help increase your knowledge regarding the menstrual cycle and what’s normal and what’s abnormal. It’s important for female athletes to understand exactly how their body works, to optimise performance, and to identify problems that need to be addressed.

Who this module is for: Female athletes, parents of female athletes and coaches of female athletes.
