How will the survey be accessible to individuals with visual impairment or English literacy challenges?
The Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) mission is to lead and enable a united high performance (HP) system that supports Australian athletes/teams to achieve podium success.
For athletes or other participants with visual impairment or English literacy challenges, the AIS athlete wellbeing and engagement team will provide information about the survey via national sporting organisations (NSOs), and any individuals who wish to participate will be invited to contact the Orygen researchers (without providing identifying information) to complete the survey via a phone interview. A member of the research team will directly input the data into the online survey on the individual’s behalf.
