What areas or issues will be covered in the interview?
The Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) mission is to lead and enable a united high performance (HP) system that supports Australian athletes/teams to achieve podium success.
Participants who wish to take part in the interview will be asked to further elaborate on their experiences with the MHRN. This will include questions about accessing the MHRN support (e.g., in person or via tele-health options), your experience of the clinician(s) and the support provided, and areas for service improvement. Interviews will be conducted on Zoom and will be recorded and transcribed to ensure the researchers capture the participants’ views and experiences (rather than interpret what’s been said). Although some topics discussed in the interview may be sensitive, you can choose not to answer any questions.
Athletes, coaches, and staff who participate in an interview will be reimbursed (via direct bank transfer) for their time.
