Mark McMahon

Offering a person-centred holistic approach Mark has extensive experience in clinical, counselling, and performance settings. Mark was an embedded psychologist at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

Mark is a passionate, knowledgeable, and empathetic psychologist with extensive experience in clinical, counselling, and performance settings. As well as providing psychological services to elite athletes as part of the AIS Mental Health Referral Network Mark works in private practice with adult clients, in corporate psychology, and for the national youth mental health foundation – Headspace. Mark has worked in the role of Team Psychologist to the ‘Jackaroos’ (the National Lawn Bowl Team) and was an embedded psychologist at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Mark has a proven track record of working with clinical and counselling clients, offering a person-centred approach to enable positive change in client’s lives, so that they may enjoy improved mental health and greater wellbeing.

The AIS MHRN offers elite athletes an opportunity to seek the assistance they need to best support their mental health throughout their sporting journey.
