Hongbo Liang has been working with Table Tennis Australia for over three years, overseeing the daily training environment for NSW based National Squad members, coaching at national training camps, and assisting at national events. To his credit, nearly half of the junior national squad members came through his coaching. Originally from China, Hongbo was a high-level player himself, representing Heilongjiang Province and then playing as a professional in Japan. His ultimate goal is to secure the first Olympic medal in table tennis for Australia.
