Jared Tallent

Jared Tallent is an Olympic Gold Medallist and an Athletics Australia High Performance Development Coach for the walk events. He recently accompanied five of his athletes at the Asian 20km Race Walking Championships, where two of his athletes achieved 2023 World Championship and 2024 Paris Olympic qualifying times. Jared is Australia’s most decorated Olympic male track and field athlete; at the London 2012 Games he claimed gold in the 50km race walk, with silver medals in the same event in 2008 and 2016, as well as a bronze from the 20km race walk in Beijing. Jared is also a three-time silver World Championship medallist, six-time World Race Walking Cup medallist, and a Commonwealth Games Gold Medallist.
