Kat Smith is the newly appointed Head Coach of the A-league Women’s Western Sydney Wanderers football team. Kat has also worked as a lead scout for the Matildas at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup and as a Junior National Team Assistant Coach and Performance Analyst. Between 2013 and 2019, she was the Assistant Coach of the A-league Women’s team, Melbourne Victory and was a SEDA College Teacher and Coach on the Melbourne Victory High-Performance Program between 2010 and 2022. Kat holds an AFC Pro Licence, a Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary) from RMIT, and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement) from Deakin University.
