What we are looking for
The Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) mission is to lead and enable a united high performance (HP) system that supports Australian athletes/teams to achieve podium success.
What we are looking for
Respectful Behaviours workshop presenters will be selected from a wide range of sports and locations around Australia. We will select candidates who demonstrate a genuine interest in the subject area, and who display the following characteristics:
- Level of maturity/seniority as an alumni or member of your sport
- Ability to facilitate discussions and confidence to present to other athletes and staff
- Comfort discussing topics of a sensitive nature likely to be discussed within workshops; and
- Empathy, honesty and maturity in your manner.
Prior training or work experience in this area is not required, as successful applicants will undergo full training on the program. Once trained, program presenters will be paired with an experienced facilitator. The time commitment is flexible – upon completion of the training in September 2020, we anticipate the ongoing requirement from presenters will be in the order of 1-2 days per year.
