Enjoy a fun and active visit to the AIS on your excursion in Canberra
Join us for an engaging 90-minute guided tour of the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS), where your group can explore the world of elite athletes and discover our rich sporting history. Students will learn what it takes to reach the top, gain insights into the daily lives and training routines of high-performance athletes, and uncover inspiring stories of sporting excellence. They may even spot some of Australia’s top athletes in training!
Every tour includes access to Sportex, an interactive exhibit where people of all ages can come together to have fun and immerse themselves in the rich history of Australian sports. At Sportex, you'll find numerous engaging and interactive displays waiting for you to explore. Whether you’re shooting hoops, kicking a footy, or trying your hand at various sports challenges, you'll discover how much fun being active can be.
The AIS Shop will be available for school groups to purchase souvenirs, apparel or pre-order AIS Active Packs. Catering packs can also be pre-ordered from the team at Trippas White Group.
AIS Tour

Monday-Friday: 8.30 am, 10:00 am, 11:30 am, 1:00 pm, 2:30 pm, 4:00 pm, 5:30 pm Duration: 90 minutes
Sportex Only
60-minute Sportex only session.
Groups enjoy fun and safe interactive displays, learn about the history of Australian sport and be inspired to be active and play sport.
Monday-Friday: 7:00 pm, 8:00 pm Duration: 60 minutes

AIS Active Packs are only $14.50* and include:

The AIS cafè may also be open, where hot & cold drinks and food can be purchased separately.
