Welcome to our Resources Hub, we are very grateful for your assistance to promote The Start Line, the inaugural Director Education course within your sport. This course is designed for sporting Directors at all levels, and all backgrounds, to provide a baseline for a professional and thriving sporting community.
This project has been a collaboration from representatives across the sector, including State and Territory Agencies of Sport and Recreation, and is designed to both upskill current sport Directors and prepare new Directors for the requirements of being an important member of a Board.

Sport Australia has released a free online Director Education Course, designed for sporting Directors at all levels and all backgrounds. ‘The Start Line’ will increase the capability and confidence of Board Members from the grassroots level to National Sport Boards, providing a baseline for a professional and thriving sporting community.
