Lifetime achievement award for sports journalism

This is awarded to an individual who has made a lengthy, significant and influential contribution to the reporting of Australian sport. Nominations are made by an ASC-appointed judging panel, with the award determined by the ASC Board.

Winner

One of sports greatest storytellers and a trailblazer for females in sport, Margie McDonald, is the latest recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award, announced at the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) Media Awards on 19 February 2025.
