Athletes training and attending camps at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) now have access to a range of award-winning sports nutrition products, thanks to a partnership announced with Bikesportz.

Bikesportz will supply a range of Science in Sport (SiS) products which are available at the AIS Campus in Canberra to aid in athlete recovery and energy production.

Used worldwide by the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Cycling Australia, the Crusaders and Saracens and the New South Wales Institute of Sport, SiS has more than three decades worth of experience in developing safe and innovative sport nutrition products.

More than 3,000 athletes and coaches from 28 sports have already attended camps at the AIS this year, with another 1,600 from 20 sports visiting the campus over the next four months.

Australian Sports Commission Executive General Manager of AIS Performance Matti Clements said the announcement is a timely one.

“The Australian Sports Commission and its high performance arm, the AIS, is delighted to partner with Bikesportz and increase the resources available onsite for athletes to aid in their preparation, performance and recovery,” Clements said.

“We know how important good nutrition is and this partnership will help to fuel our athletes and empower them to win well.”

National Partnerships Manager Nick Locandro said BikeSportz is proud to once again partner with the AIS through Science in Sport Nutrition, supporting Australia’s top athletes during the green and gold decade.

“With a home Games in Brisbane on the horizon, we’re proud to stand alongside the AIS in delivering world-class nutrition and cutting-edge innovation to fuel Australia’s athletes in both training and competition.”

“This partnership highlights our shared commitment to helping athletes reach their full potential on the global stage,” Locandro said.
