It’s sunny, it’s warm, it’s time for Your Sporting Summer! The summer sport season is almost here, and the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) is encouraging more Australians to get involved in sport through the Your Sporting Summer campaign.
The Your Sporting Summer campaign theme is a celebration of sport, evoking feelings of enthusiasm, warmth, and energy that are synonymous with sport and Australian summer.
The ASC is working with sporting organisations to boost summer sport sign ups from participants, coaches, officials and volunteers. Swimming superstar, Bronte Campbell took time out from competing at the recent Australian Short Course Championships to jump on board to get more people participating in sport.
“I reckon it’s a great time to make a splash and get involved in summer sport,” Bronte said.
“Why not sign up to a local club and get involved in a sporting summer.”
