New interactive exhibits open in Sportex

The Australian Institute of Sport’s (AIS) iconic exhibit, Sportex, is now home to a brand-new suite of exciting interactives for visitors to experience. 

Sportex has inspired and engaged visitors for more than 25 years through hands-on sporting experiences. 

Now, the AIS has raised the bar with refreshed experiences designed to ignite curiosity, challenge skills and showcase the latest in sporting technology and innovation. 

Visitors can enjoy new exciting interactives, including: 

• Snowboarding, testing your balance and coordination on a virtual mountain course. 
• Canoe slalom, where you can challenge yourself on a whitewater course. 
• Track cycling, allowing you to feel the speed on the velodrome. 
• Sports Hub, ensuring you learn from the experts in high-performance sport. 
• Virtual cricket, an immersive interactive allowing you to test your ball skills 

Plus, several existing favourites have also received exciting upgrades.
