Ingredients

  • oil for cooking
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 500g beef mince
  • 2 tsp curry powder
  • 1 carrot, finely sliced
  • 1 red capsicum, finely sliced
  • 130g red or green cabbage, shredded
  • ½ cup frozen corn kernels
  • ½ cup frozen peas
  • ¼ cup MAGGI Oyster Sauce
  • ¼ cup kecap manis
  • ½ cup chicken stock
  • rice, cooked, to serve

Method

  1. Heat oil in a wok over high heat. Cook onion, garlic, and mince for 1–2 minutes or until browned, breaking up any lumps with a wooden spoon. Add curry powder and stir until fragrant.
  2. Add carrot and capsicum and cook for 2 minutes or until just starting to soften.
  3. Add cabbage, corn, peas, MAGGI Oyster Sauce, kekap manis, curry powder and stock and cook for 5 minutes. Serve with rice.

HINT: Use MAGGI Mince Chow Mein Recipe Mix as a short cut.
