Ingredients

  • 8 bamboo skewers
  • 2 tbsp rice wine
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp mirin
  • 1 tbsp caster sugar
  • 1 tsp minced ginger
  • 500g chicken thigh fillets, sliced into 2cm cubes
  • vegetables, steamed, to serve

Method

  1. Soak the skewers in cold water for 10 minutes. Combine all ingredients except vegetables in a bowl and marinate for 20 minutes.
  2. Thread the chicken onto the soaked bamboo skewers.
  3. Grill for 6 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Serve with vegetables

HINT: Serve with MAGGI 2 Minute Noodles made according to packet directions minus seasoning.
