Paddle is the latest sport to align its participation plan with Play Well - Australia’s Sport Participation Strategy.

The plan, Paddle Well, opens in a new tab, focuses on building clear pathways into paddling, creating safe and welcoming environments, and supporting lifelong engagement across all forms of the sport.

Paddle Australia CEO Kim Crane said the plan aligns with their broader Paddle Forward 32 strategy and represents a significant step forward in shaping the future of paddling in Australia.

“Paddle Well establishes our commitment to enhancing how paddling is experienced, accessed and sustained across Australia,” Crane said.

A key focus of Paddle Well is ensuring inclusive opportunities exist across the entire paddling ecosystem, including volunteering, coaching, officiating, and leadership roles.

As Paddle Australia continues to deliver on its long-term vision, Paddle Well will play a critical role in opening paddling to more people, strengthening communities, and creating a lasting legacy across Australia.
