The annual Play Well state and territory roadshows have wrapped up in Perth with close to 500 people attending eight sessions held across the country.
The roadshows, run in partnership with sector stakeholders, provided the opportunity for organisations from across the sport participation system to connect and align on the activities identified in the Play Well Strategy.
The roadshows focused on:
- Identifying the biggest challenges for sport participation in each jurisdiction
 - Understanding the progress and the key activities that have taken place in Year One of the Play Well Strategy
 - Celebrating the success and case studies of local organisations and sports. and
 - Identifying the key steps that need to take place as we accelerate into Horizon 2.

The roadshows were well received with organisations enjoying the workshops, interactive sessions and opportunity to contribute to the Strategy and align our resources, effort and investment.
The information from the roadshows will contribute to the ongoing progress of Play Well activities so that everyone that wants to be involved can be involved in sport.
A summary of the roadshows and key discussions will be available on the Play Well website soon.
