Students of all abilities will be able to enjoy wheelchair rugby league as part of a new Sporting Schools offering being delivered in schools from Term 1, 2023. The adapted National Rugby League (NRL) programs are a variation of the running game programs allowing students with and without disability to engage in the sport whilst embracing inclusion and diversity.Karate making moves in the Sporting Schools program
Karate Australia has been admitted as Sporting Schools’ 40th national sporting organisation partner from Term 3, 2024. Both primary and secondary schools can select karate in Term 3 grant applications, with karate the first and only martial art sport currently available for secondary schools.
