2020 Sport Governance Standards Benchmarking Report

The 2020 Sport Governance Standards Benchmarking Report, produced by collating data from 64 sports has been released.
The report is designed to provide National Sporting Organisations (NSOs) with insights from the self-assessment process against the Sport Governance Standards (SGS), conducted in September 2020. The SGS are aligned to the new evolved Sport Governance Principles (released July 2020), effectively bringing the principles to life.
The aim for this report is to benchmark the current governance maturity of all NSOs, form the basis of a Sport’s Governance and Organisational Enhancement Plan, as well as identify the major development needs of the NSOs to prioritise support, education and resources for the sector.
