Supporting and developing coaches in High Performance (HP)
Building capability of NSO/D and NIN workforce in supporting and developing high performance coaches.
The AIS has a strong track record of delivering transformative development opportunities for High Performance (HP) coaches and continues to prioritise coach development. A key opportunity as we drive towards LA is to enhance the capability of the NSO/D and NIN workforce to support and develop our HP coaches.
The AIS HP Coach Development Team is hosting a three-day workshop for NSO/D and NIN participants who play a key role in leading and developing HP coaches. This workshop is designed for NSO/D and NIN leaders working with HP coaches, helping them better understand environmental demands and strengthen their ability to support and develop HP coaching talent.
Target audience: NSO/D and NIN employees who are:
- High Performance Directors
- Pathway Managers
- Head Coaches supporting other HP coaches
- Coaches who are intending to work with HP coaches
- Coach Education Managers / Directors
Nomination process:
EOI applications will close on Wednesday 30 July 2025.
When:
Two separate workshops will be held -
- Tuesday 2 - Thursday 4 September 2025 and
- Tuesday 9 - Thursday 11 December 2025
Each workshop will commence at 10:30am on Tuesday and conclude at 3:00pm Thursday.

Logistics
- Flights and accommodation are at the individual participant's / NSO/D / NIN expense
- Accommodation has been reserved for participants at the AIS Residences
- There is no cost for the 3-day workshop for NSO/D and NIN employees
