Our activities can be broadly categorised as programs, initiatives and experiences. These efforts are supported through media coverage, promotion of sport and system achievements and recognition of coaching success.

Programs

Targeted and structured development experiences with defined objectives, cohorts and delivery times.

    Gen 32

    For aspiring pathway and early career HP coaches and elite athletes transitioning to coaching careers.

    Enhance

    For experienced HP coaches (~5-10 years +).

    Summit

    For senior national head coaches and podium coaches.

    Mentorship

    A cross-sport mutually beneficial mentorship program.

    Experiential Learning Program

    An authentic, supported and practical based learning experience targeted at competition tour experience.

    Coaching Fundamentals

    A suite of short courses covering topics of physiology, skill acquisition and planning for performance.

    Aspire Coach Program

    An initiative designed to support the development of women coaches who aspire to enter and thrive in the HP coaching landscape.

    Supporting and Developing HP Coaches

    An initiative targeting coach development roles. A capability building initiative for the sports/system.

    Enhancing Performance Teams: Ways of Working

    An initiative with ongoing support processes, designed to strengthen alignment, collaboration and effectiveness within high performance teams.

    Direct support

    NIN embedded coach development that provides specialist coaching advice and coach development expertise to support targeted NSO/D objectives and requirements.

    Women in High Performance Coaching

    A comprehensive range of initiatives, informed by system engagement designed to drive system change to enhance the experience and representation of women coaches.

    Learning Design

    A national approach to support and build coach capability and capacity to enhance athlete skill learning for performance.

    In partnership with Paralympics Australia, designed to increase the numbers, capacity and capability of coaches working with HP Paralympic sport athletes.

    Coach Performance Wellbeing

    Utilising existing knowledge bases and new research, engage with key stakeholders to take ownership of a national approach to coach performance wellbeing that ensures sustainability and success.
